Pr Jean-Paul Meningaud

Professor Meningaud’s professional activities focus on General Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery, as well as Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.

Professor Jean-Paul Meningaud has been a Professor at the University of Paris 12 since 2009 and Head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Henri Mondor University Hospital since 2012. He is a former Intern of the Hospitals of Paris and a former Clinical Fellow at the Salpêtrière Hospital.

He has served as a judicial expert at the Paris Court of Appeal since 2006 and has been accredited by the Court of Cassation since 2012. A facial specialist, he has been involved in seven face transplants since 2007. He had the honour of being admitted to the National Academy of Surgery in 2018 and is now a full member.
